Internship
In spite of the tendency toward internships included into categorical residencies, the one-year "habitual rotating internship" (occasionally named a "transitional year") continues to be present. Various apply it to re-apply to programs into which they were not received, while others use it as a year to make a decision for a specialty. In addition, five states still oblige osteopathic medical doctors to complete a habitual rotating internship before residency. |
